Our  Why

Hello !  My name is Kimberly, and I founded The Lionshield Agency, LLC in 2004 after an unexpected medical crisis left a couple of my own family members financially devastated.  After years of hard work, and years of being fiscally responsible, this crisis hit them out of nowhere, and wiped them out financially - to the point that they almost lost their home.

Never did they ever imagine that anything like that could happen.  When it came to their finances, they thought they had done everything right, and for the most part, they had - but unfortunately, what they didn't know DID hurt them.

After going through this experience with them, I vowed to never let this happen to our family (or any other family that I came in contact with) ever again.  So it became my life's mission to not only help my family, but to also help as many other families and individuals as I can to plan, prepare and protect themselves from the risk of financial devastation that can occur when unexpected life events like pre-mature death or debilitating illness occur. 

So as a result of that experience, The Lionshield Agency was founded, and has grown into a full-service agency of licensed, professionals ready to help you
